Domain Names Registration
Orchid are members of Nominet (the registry for .uk domain names) and agents for several others. We can offer you a personal service to help you register any domain names you require. We can provide .co.uk, .org.uk, .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz .ws, and several others. One you have registered your domain we can apply it to your OrchidServe account so that you can use it for your email and website, see Domain Name Servicing.
Registering a .UK Domain Name
By registering a .uk domain name, you enter into a contract of registration with Nominet UK. Nominet UK’s Terms and Conditions can be found at https://www.nominet.uk/uk-domains/policies/.
Please note that this is a separate contract to any arrangement you may have with any third party for the provision of internet services, including OrchidServe. Please read and accept the terms before proceeding with your order.
Domain Name Service
Domain Name Servicing allows you to use your domain name with your OrchidServe account for email and websites. Your OrchidServe account will allow you to use the domain with your website (standard hosting) and as many email addresses and email aliases as you require. You can configure all this yourself using our online administration system.
Domain Name Transfers
You can transfer your Domain Names into OrchidServe and away OrchidServe, usually for free.
