These instructions assume that the IMAP protocol, rather than POP3, is to be used (POP3 needs different port settings).
To add a new IMAP account:
- Open Outlook and click on the File tab.
- Click on the Account Settings button and select Account Settings…:
- The Account Settings window will be displayed. Click New…
- The following window will then be displayed:

- Enter your e-mail address.
- Click on Advanced options and tick Let me set up my account manually.
- Click Connect.
- The following window is then displayed:
Click on IMAP.
- The IMAP Account Setting window is then displayed:

- Set the Incoming mail server to:
- mail.<yourdomain.co.uk> or your allocated server, e.g. krypton.cloudhosting.uk, rubidium.cloudhosting.uk or ceres.uksrv.co.uk.
- Port 993.
- Encryption method SSL/TLS.
- Set the Outgoing mail server to:
- mail.<yourdomain.co.uk> or your allocated server, e.g. krypton.cloudhosting.uk, rubidium.cloudhosting.uk or ceres.uksrv.co.uk.
- Port 465.
- Encryption method SSL/TLS.
- Set the Incoming mail server to:
Click Next.
- On the next screen, enter your password:
- Click Connect. Your account will now be configured and added. The following will be displayed:
- Click Done to exit the window (untick the checkbox below the Done button unless you want to set up Outlook Mobile on your phone).
- The new account will be added to the list of accounts in the Account Settings window:
